In addition, Russia's Golden and Silver Ages of poetry will be highlighted with works of poetry and prose including Courage and Requiem by Anna Akhmatova; select Zhivago Poems from the novel Doctor Zhivago written by Boris Pasternak and works by Vladimir Mayakovsky and the Father of Russian literature Alexander Pushkin – selected by literary curator Nancy Sima

The event will be moderated by MCCE’s Artistic Director Tamara Keshecki and members of the audience will be invited to participate in the poetry readings.

This event is appearing under the auspices of Center Without Walls (CWW), sponsored by UJA-Federation of New York and the Joan & Alan Bernikow Jewish Community Center.
